Pivot Point Advantage:

• The SIDESHIFT Bow Thrusters are mounted at the farthest point forward unlike conventional bow thrusters that need to be in the hull of the vessel closer to the center.

Maintenance:

• Conventional bow thrusters are plagued with weeds, Zebra mussels, barnacles etc. and whatever can get in the pipe. Being in a pipe makes it very hard to clean out. The SIDESHIFT bow thrusters are not hard to maintain because it is not installed in a pipe.
• Once a year in the spring check the anodes and change if necessary
