Trawlers have a displacement hull that is almost as deep in the water at the bow as the stern. The overall shape of the freeboard is usually high from mid ship to stern. The captain of this type of boat will often have difficulty controlling the stern. To solve this problem we recommend installing a SIDESHIFT stern thruster.
